The Bindyi Club is a club for all ex-students of Dubbo High School & Dubbo College.
It was formed in 1985 when ex-student, Frank Heather, placed an advertisement in the Sydney Morning Herald asking if any ex-students wanted to get together and have lunch.
The response was overwhelming and resulted in the formation of the Club.
Since its inception, the Bindyi club has met every year on the second Saturday in March.
There is always a guest speaker, usually an ex-student. The current vice-captains of Dubbo College Senior Campus also attend with the Principal. In recent years there have also been lunches held in Canberra and Dubbo.
The Bindyi Club awards scholarships at each campus of the College in the name of distinguished ex-student, Rawdon Middleton VC. It also maintains ties with three schools (in England, Sydney and Parkes) which are named after Middleton.
All ex-students of the College are encouraged to join - go to eqvf.org
